Evanescence - Bring me to life

This music video was extremely popular and was released on April 22, 2003. The band won in the category for Best Rock Hard Performance at the 46th Grammy Awards where the song was also nominated for Best Rock Song."Bring me to life" peaked within the top 10 of more than 15 countries, making it the bands most successful single to date. The video shows a rock band playing and the artist finding her way to join them.



Animation 

Gorillaz - Stylo 

Stylo is from a British Virtual Band called Gorillaz and was released on 26th January 2010. It was the first singe from their album Plastic Beach and features vocals from Bobby Womack & Mos Def.As the Gorillaz band are animated, the video shows Murdoc, 2D and Cyborg Noodle in a bullet-riddled, smoking 1969 car getting chased by the one and only Bruce Willis in a red 1968. It was however the first Gorillaz song to reach any Japanese chart, rising to number 8 in the Japan Hot 100. 




Narrative

Stan - Eminem 


This song is by a very popular American rapper known as Eminem which features British singer Dido. It peaked number one in the UK and Australia. Stan has been called one of the rappers best songs and signature songs. It was nominated for multiple awards, including best song and has sold over 750,000 copies in the UK.
The music video shows a story throughout the whole song with the lyrics which makes it really interesting to watch because of suspense.






Surrealist

E.T - Katy Perry 


The song E.T. is by Katy Perry (American) and was also written by her along with song producers Dr. Luke, Max Martin & Ammo. It features Kanye West. The song topped charts in Canada, New Zealand, Poland, Australia, Ireland, Scotland & Crotia. The song sold over 6 million digital downloads worldwide, making it one of the best selling singles worldwide.
The music video includes unrealistic features such as aliens and flying objects followed by pastel-coloured make-up.






Pastiche

Walk - Foo Fighters


Walk is song by an American rock band called the Foo Fighters. It was written by Dave Grohl & co-produced by Butch Vig. 
The song reached No.1 on the Billboard Rock Songs chart on July 201, 2011 and won 2 awards at the 54th Grammy Awards for Best Rock Performance & Best Rock song in February 12, 2012.
The music video premiered online on June 2, 2011 and was directed by Sam Jones. It was heavily influenced by the 1993 dilm Falling Down.





Parody

Headlines Parody (Drake) Headvines - Affion Crockett

This song was originally by Canadian rapper Drake but was turned into a hilarious parody by Affion Crockett who is a comedian. 
In the Music video, he starts out by imitating Drake and turns the focus to Drake's eyebrows. Affion lets us know at the beginning of the video "Parody is comedy, never disrespect".All the scenes in the video are done exactly the same as the original but he changes up the lyrics sounding similar to the original.

Rolling in the deep - Adele


Rolling in the deep is a song is written and recorded by British recording artist Adele. It was also written by Paul Epworth. The song was released on 29 November 2010 as the lead single and reached No.1 in 11 countries and top 5 in many more regions. It sold over 7,600,000 copies in the US.The music video was directed by Sam Brown and was premiered on Channel 4 on 3rd of December 2010. The scenes in the video show loads of glasses filled with water that vibrate and to the beat of the drum.

I really don't care (Fan Video) - Demi Lovato


This song is by an American singer known as Demi Lovato featuring Cher Lloyd who is an English singer. It was written by the artists themselves followed by Carl Falk, Savan Kotecha and Rami Yacoub. It peakd number one making it Demi's 3rd No.1 on the US chart.
The official video was released on June 26, 2014 but the lyric video was uploaded on May 14, 2014 on Demi's Vevo account. It features several shots of Brazillian fans lip syncing the lyrics of the song almost at they're singing it.

Aint Nobody (Loves me better) - Felix Jaehn ft. Jasmine Thompson


Ain't Nobody was originally by Chaka Khan but was covered by English singer & songwriter Jasmine Ying Thompson. The song made number 32 on the UK Singles Chart. The cover was then remixed by German DJ Felix Jaehn in 2015 and became a huge hit peaking at No.2 in the UK and charting several other countries and with over 100 million views online.
The video shows her journey backstage and on on stage singing the song in front of millions of people with neon lights flashing everywhere.
